'Jaanisaar' is going to be release on 7th of August in this Year 2015.The film is made made under the direction of Muzzafar Ali starring Imran Abbas('Creature' fame) and Pernia Quershi. The film is about. It is a period drama, which shows a love story of a prostitue in Avadh and and a prince in England.The film was set in 1877, 20 years after the first war of Indian freedom in 1857. Muzzaffar Ali is coming back in the direction who is already a big name for his film name "Umrao jaan" (1981).The film was first titled Raqs: The Dance Within but was then changed to Jaanisaar.
Playback for the film is done by very known name including Abida Parveen, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sukhwinder Singh.The two folk songs "Teri kateeli nigaahon ne mara", and "Tumko aane me,tumko bulane me,kai Saavan baras gaye Saajna" are sung by famous singer Malini Awashti
This is the second film for the Pakistani actor Imran Abbas Naqvi, his debut film was Creature-3D 2014. The film is introducing Pernia Quershi. She is doing her acting debut in this film. She professionly is a well known fashion designer and costume designer. Her cast in the film is also due to her dancing ability.
